Jazz 4 Kids

Taking place in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall at JAZZ.FM91, Jazz 4 Kids monthly concert series provides a fun filled unique cultural experience for Junior and Middle School students. Children enjoy interactive concerts by professional musicians who encourage and inspire creativity through music to foster an appreciation for musical arts.

Music educators have observed that student participation in music has a positive impact on other areas of their lives including improvement in a student's self-discipline, dexterity, coordination, self-esteem, thinking skills, listening skills, creative abilities and personal expression. Since 2007, Jazz 4 Kids has inspired musical creativity to more than 1,500 children from across the GTA.

To schedule a concert for your students or for more information, interested educators are encouraged to contact community@jazz.fm. We are proud to give selection priority to schools from under serviced areas of the GTA.
